Welcome to the PRPC

We are a provincially inspected and approved range located on the outskirts of Peterborough.

Established in the 1940s

Our club was established in 1949 by a group of WW II veterans and has grown since to become one of the best shooting sports clubs in Central Ontario.
The Peterborough Revolver and Pistol Club is an incorporated non-profit club, operating for the benefit of its members and dedicated to the promotion and safe enjoyment of the shooting sports.

We are a diverse group of responsible citizens of all ages and from all walks of life, active in our club and in the community at large.

Active

Club members participate at all levels of the sport, from beginner to competition.

The Club

The PRPC offers its members a relaxing indoor atmosphere in which to enjoy the sport year round. The club’s nine shooting lanes are 60’ in length, comfortable, well illuminated and ventilated. Members have access to the club building 7 days a week between the hours of 9am–11pm with the exception of Sunday, when the hours are 12pm – 11pm. Our premises, inside and out, are video monitored 24/7.

Never fired a pistol or revolver before, and would like to try it?

Visit us any Wednesday evening for our Open House, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. An experienced Range Officer will go over all the safety aspects with you, answer any questions that you might have and then provide one-on-one guidance on the firing line.

And Yes, we are accepting new members.

If you have questions about becoming a member, check under the ‘Becoming a Member’ tab at the top of this page or send us a message using the email address at the bottom of the page.

Ptbo Dragon Boat

Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival race day was Saturday, June 13th, 2015. Our club made a donation to the ‘Eau Naturals’ Team.  A number of  our members were on the team and had a fun day, for a good cause.

Thank you to all those that participated, donated and otherwise contributed to a successful event to raise funds in support of breast cancer care in our community.
